Governance
We must do more than register to vote and then voting. We need to attend planning meetings, others need to sit on boards and commissions. We need to know the issues and attend candidate forums (you get bonus points for attending forums as a candidate). We need to understand the process and we need to participate. Today’s Gilbert is being imagined by members of the council and planning commission and they need us to join the conversation.

Vote Early - The polls open for early voting on Monday, 12 February 2007 and close on Friday, 9 March 2007. Early voting polling stations are located at the Gilbert Municipal Center (50 E. Civic Center Drive - east off Gilbert Road just south of Warner Road) during regular business hours.
Vote Often - No, not in this election. We mean vote (once) in every election not just the big national elections. Every vote and every election is important.
